Last fall I took a huge leap and decided to turn a passion of mine into a side business. I didn’t have time to think to hard about whether or not it was the right decision because before I knew it, I was booking mini-sessions, family photo sessions and had even agreed to participate in a family photo session fundraiser for our local elementary school. I brainstormed a business name and started Facebook and Instagram pages and then delved into designing a website for the first time in my life. Holy cow, things were steaming ahead full force and I was LOVING every second of the photo sessions and editing process.
Then…came…winter.
I went from being crazy busy to daydreaming about taking photos. Family photo sessions were non existent. Before too long, I realized that outdoor portrait photography has a busy time and a dead time…and January – March = DEAD TIME. Spring in Denver is right around the corner (although it has officially been this season for weeks now…you just wouldn’t know it due to the 15+ inches of snow we’ve had this week). Bring it on! I am ready…more than ready…to jump back into the season of photography. Mommy & Me sessions! Senior portraits! Headshots! Family Photos! First Birthday Photos!
Here we go!!!
